We’re celebrating after a sell out success at The Firs, our latest Shared Ownership scheme in Salford. All 15 two and three bedroomed homes sold within two weeks of launching, with seven homes being reserved on the first day. Mancunian bard launches Poet’s Place

We have named two friends from Tameside as Greater Manchester’s nicest neighbours. After a three-month search we crowned Pamela Howard from Ashton-under-Lyne as the city’s kindest neighbour because of her commitment to helping her friend Jean Tavener. Pamela has helped Jean everyday since she had a serious operation in hospital. She dresses her, takes her out for trips into town, collects her shopping and cooks her meals. Plumlife sells Sheffield Housing Company’s first shared ownership homes

Plumlife has been tasked with selling the first collection of shared ownership houses build by Sheffield Housing Company (SHC), a joint venture between Sheffield City Council, Keepmoat and Great Places Housing Group. The 12 two-, three- and four-bedroomed homes were built by Keepmoat at the Brearley Forge development in Parson Cross. SHC has a 15-year plan to build 2,300 new homes, ranging from two – six bedroomed houses, across seven of the city’s suburbs.
